The Creative Cardboard Carnival

On Friday, October 5, 2012, we worked all day to create the Creative Cardboard Carnival.  Here are some highlights that our class wrote about this morning.

  • Our game was called, Toss the Ball Mario, and we drew Mario on our game. (AC)
  • I made 2 games. (JA)
  • I used foam, glue, a water bottle, tape, cardboard, and bubble wrap to create Ball Toss. (EB)
  • We made small planes out of a straw, index card, and tape for our game. (DX)
  • I made a game called Fast Shot, and we are detailing it right now. (HY)
  • I think my game will be hard to play. (NB)
  • I used a chocolate box and a shoe box to make a basketball game. (LS)
  • I made a tissue box into a telescope. (CK)
  • My cardboard turned into a creation. (MK)
  • You can play anything you want with my creation. (AU)
  • My game is hard to play because you have to fit a ball into the box. (JL)
  • I took tape and lined up Popsicle sticks on it to make a wall for my game. (MB)
  • My favorite part was making our robot clown. (RH)
  • Our game is very, very challenging. (JC)
Below are 2 videos from the Global Cardboard Challenge Day.  The first is a quick movie trailer, and the second one is a longer video.  Enjoy!
